I am being sponsored by my wife. My application was recd by CHC - New Delhi on the 11th of Sep 2006. Later, I recd a letter from CHC requesting PCC from UAE, which I have sent it on 27th of SEP.

My question is will there be any time delays if the applicant had lived more than in one country.

I'm not sure what is the reason for the dealy... the people at CHC do not respond to your enquires.. all they say is refer to the procesing times..on the website..

I am not sure what exaclty is happening.. sometimes i feel like things are all chaotic at the CHC.. nothing happening..

I have not lived in any other country ..throughout my life I have lived in India but in different parts of India.. will that make a difference??

All i can do at this point is wait patiently.. or the other thing is I can go to new delhi and talk to someone at the CHC.. but this may be futile attempt to get some info..

when exaclty did you submit your papers icycool....did you recieve communication from the CHC???

I believe it takes abt 3-4 months on the avg to get the visa...

Yes on an avg it takes abt 3-4 mths we submitted our papers on Aug 14 and In new delhi the proc has been started since Oct 4th.

Still we havent heard anthing from New delhi

No i dont think living in different parts in india makes a difference.

Hi Guys

Even my wife has not received any Passport request and her file is in delhi since 29 Aug 2006.

When i contacted delhi they did not respond then i contacted my MP to whom they responded saying my file is in quuea and still now i am waiting for delhi for any such request may be interview or the passport .

Nothing happending..still waiting ..

Looks like there are many cd members

Hi ashok beth,

do u have any idea whats the reson behind such a long delay, have u or ur wife stayed in other countries apart from India or have ur wife been to Canada on Visitors viza.

There are many people whose processing has been started in Oct and have already recd their PPR. try to find out whats teh reason behind delaying ur application.
