Spouse/kids visa approval from CPC M - Time frame in New Delhi.

Hello everyone,
Greetings!
My family sponsorship application got CPC M approval on August 30, 2006 (application received date July 18,2006 at CPC M). I have received a letter from CPC M stating that file has been transferred to New Delhi visa office.
Is there anybody with the same time frame. How long will it take for New Delhi office to contact my wife for sending the passports.
And how long it takes to returning the passports with endorsed visas.

Hi, Spam 027, first of all , congradulations for the approval of your sponsorship by CPC M. we are actually in the same time frame, but so far I didn't receive anything from CPCM , I sent the application for my kid on august 1, As i learned from some forum , it took 3-4 weeks or shorter for consulate to request passport.

BTW, pls kindly let me know how did you know your application is approved. from the mail thet sent you or the E status on the web. also when did you mail the applicattion. thanks in advance for your timely reply.

Hi Eaglefly:
I mailed the application to CPC M on July 14th.
CPC M received it on July 18th.
Accordingly my application was processed between August 25 -30.
On August 25 I could see the e-status online.
On August 30 CPC M approved my application and sent me a letter which I received on September 10.
It is mentioned in the letter that the application has been forwarded to New Delhi.
So far my family did not receive any letter or advise for sending the passports to New Delhi.
I hope I am clear.

It took exactly 25 days(from the day file was transferred to New Delhi from CPC) to get letter from New Delhi visa office requesting original passports...

I shall keep posting updates to help fellow desi and not so much 'desi'.
