I have come across this situation with some people.

A canadian citizen, living in Canada, submits an outside-canada application to sponsor the spouse to move to Canada. Then, by chance, the sponsorer gets a job offer in a different country. It was not intentional to sponsor the spouse and then move to the different country. The offer came later, while the sponsorship application was in process.

Will the sponsorship application be impacted if the sponsor takes the new position in the new country?
