Hi Group

I am looking for a travel companion to accompany my mother from Dubai to Cabada any time before end of April. All she needs is some moral support and guidance during flight transfers as she has not travelled by herself much. I would appreciate if any of you who is planning to land in Canada from dubai could help me in this regard.

People usually get them a wheel chair. That way the air line staff takes u during flight transfers and u dont have to worry abt where to go.....I would say that is a misuse if u dont need it, but......

There is no substitute for having someone to accompany her from there, if that can work out. And Aashu is right that asking for WCHR is abuse of service if she doesn't need it. Most good airlines offer anoter service called Meet & Assist (MAAS). Check with your airline if they would provide it.

Or better yet. Why dont you take direct Dubai Toronto Emirates flight. I believe there is a stop over in London but no need to change planes.

I have taken the Dubai-Toronto emirates flight a couple of years ago and if I remember it correctly, there is a flight transfer in London. But I was told that there is another airline called Ethihad that flies from AbuDhabi to Toronto. I have to call them and find out.

I just came last week by Etihad Airways.

Well there is stop at Brussels to toronto. During that stop they change the crew staff and all the travellers have to go for security check. And its almost 1 km to reach at security check. Well ofcourse there are sliders to prevent walking all the way. And its about 1 hr stay which everyone spend only after walking to security check and come back in to plane.
