Hi all,

I want to buy a new camcorder this spring. I had a miniDV (tape format) camcorder..now a days, they have DVD and Hard Drive and on top, they have High Definition style camcorders out there!

I am thinking of only going with SONY Hard Drive (without High Definition)coz, high def. costs almost $400 more...do you think it's worth investing in High Def. right now as that is the trend going to be..or just buy a regualr and go for next 5 years to buy High def.

If any of you have bought one recently/have exp. with, I will apprecite any input from you knowledgable CD's
