Thanks for all the replies and the encouragement.
I have one more question. When I landed as a PR I showed proof of funds. Now I have dumped most of those funds into investments (real estate). So when I re-enter Canada, Do I have to show proof of funds?
No.
Folks, any conflicting experience.

I am living and working past three years in Ontario...........My three years total income was less than 100 K including provincial and federal tax. Am I wasting time in Ontario? Not working in Software industry?
Is IT that hot ? how easy or difficult to enter into IT field. I am all set to change my career. I am only not aware where to start?
what will be the salary for the new comer?
You can change your field and enter IT even now. Start with QA testing. Easiest to learn and easy to get a job .I don't know about ease of getting a job in Canada, but in USA it is pretty easy. The salary may be little less.
Others please comment regarding QA job market in Canada as I dont know much.
Good Luck
Folks
I got a job in Toronto. I will be moving from USA shortly. Actually I will be commuting every week from US to Toronto (till my wife gets job in Toronto), The office is in Toronto Downtown (some place called Bay St) and I will be technical manager for a fortune 100 company.I might be looking for shared accomodation near this place. If anybody has anything please let me know
Thanks a lot for all of your help.
My wife is looking for IT openings. She has MS (IS) from USA and she does not have much experience in IT. She wants to get a job as IT QA analyst. How easy is that to get that in Canada? In US, it is very easy but not much high salary
Thanks
