Hi,
My question is about the PR Residency Obligation.
I am a canadian citizen and my wife is a PR and is accompanying me to US for a period of 2 years.
Would she accumulate any of the stay with me towards her PR Residency Obligation ?
Please advise if this not count any suggestions to maintain the PR Residency Obligation
Thanks in advance
Chand,
She would not accumulate any time for her (eventual) application for citizenship.
However, she will be able to keep her PR status, even though she would be away from Canada.

If you are outside Canada for extended periods of time, you can accumulate residency days if you are
-travelling with a Canadian spouse or common-law partner, or are a child accompanying a parent, or
-employed on a full-time basis by a Canadian business or the Public Service of Canada, or
-the spouse, common-law partner or child of a permanent resident who is outside Canada and who is employed on a full-time basis by a Canadian business or the Public Service of Canada.
