Hi All,

My parents have been asked to get a medical test done. My father is around 60 yrs old. Does any know what kind of tests are done in this medical test?
I am concerned bcoz my father is a heart patient and just wondering if they are going to do some detailed medical tests for heart as well?

My mother was also asked to get that medical test done. They did BP, Sugar, Urine, blood test and doctor inquire about illness/diseases like heart prob,BP,diabetes.....
my mother had heart problem in past but not anymore, although she has BP n sugar problem but its in control. As long as illness is in control there shouldnt be any problem.
BTW my mother did got her visa n she's here

Is the request for PR or for Vistors visa? I am not sure if there are different criteria for the two, but in all probablility CIC is more stricter in PR cases as they do not want people that could result in an "ordinate burden on public healthcare resources"
