Where were these Wahhabis when Saddam was butchering innocent Shias and Kurds?

Pardon me for trying to use my pea sized brain here… I was just wondering

1. Why is it that its open season on these intellectuals (for who ever is killing them) under American rule but not under Saddam’s?

2. Why wasnt there a "blood bath" under Saddam before Bush invaded Iraq? What was stopping them?

3. Where were the Wahhabis?......I dont know, you tell me?

The reason I stopped arguing with you is I don't have time to keep posting like you do.

And why do you keep posting everything that was there on one website called Information Clearing House? If someone wants they'll read from that website. You don't have to post umpteen articles from that website.

:(

Really?…and how would you like your tea, Sir… with or with out milk? Sugar on the side perhaps?

I was wondering if he thought this carnage in Mumbai was acceptable as it obviously progresses someones agenda.

I'm glad you know where Mumbai is.

There are countless agendas all over the place the choice is not about living in an 'agendaless' world but rather the agenda that you want your kids and grand kids to live with. I have chosen which agenda I want to live with...its not a caliphate or a red commie state. However, you seem to think that the US is the only country in the world with an agenda and all it does is bad.

You even have the cheek to post a Pakistani Daily article that lists the academics killed.
Can you point out where in the source it says that its the US doing the killing. Except for one place in the long list NONE of the others are pointing at US forces. Its been long known that the fanatics are the one killing the intellectuals. Your clearing house is so grabbing on straws with the spin that its the US forces.

Your desperation is being exposed as your knowledge of geography and world politics once was.:D

Anyway I think the real reason for you to post these pathetic site is the fact that it probably gets more hits when posted here than any other way. So that's the last I'm going to be using any of those links you post seeing that they have no credibility whatsoever and you are simply trying to pimp that sad site.

Isnt it interesting that you responded to this post. I wasnt refering to you at all....

Peace be to you and I hope you are around here even though you have given a very demeaning assesment of my education.....else we sure are going to miss the spark you bring to this place. (No pun intended).

How about an agenda that conforms to some decency, civility and mutual respect... ever thought of that?

So? Whats the gripe with that? Would an article sourced from an UK or US daily be the only right one to post?

The process of lowering interest rates by spreading risk throughout the system (securitization) has bogged down, sending investors fleeing from the markets to the safety of US Treasurys and cold hard cash. Bernanke's attempts to reflate the bubble by buying up Fannie and Freddie's mortgage-backed securities (MBS) and bundled credit card debt from finance companies is a sign of utter desperation. He's like a man pumping air into a punctured tire, pushing up and down furiously while the air hisses out the other side.
