Recently I came across a lady with the last name Guest. Yes her name was "Ms. Christine Guest"

I couldn't resist to ask her that, what if some real guests comes to her house?

And what do we call her house? A guest house?

My daughter had a teacher with last name Man. Some naughty students were really asking him that what do people call his wife - Mrs. Man?

The most intresting last names found in parsis those are related with their tread.

Sodawaterbottlewala
Gabhawala
Bateriwala
Kolsawala
etc.

There are some names that are masculine (There are some ppl who die silently..),
There are some that are feminine( There are others who die screaming ..),
and then there are the third kind.... !!!! (with apologies to Rang De Basanti)

Kiran Agarwal (male or female ?)
Heera Agarwal (male of female ?)
Ganga (male of female ?)

Hetal Shah/parekh (male of female ?)
