Good question, but unfortunately I do not have an equally good answer just my thoughts below which might be helpful -

1. On confederation & dundas there seems to be a good 'baby-sitting ' setup. That place is like a 7 minute walk from hillcrest.

2. Checkup on the notice boards where residents advertise services or put up your own 'wanted' note on the boards.

3. Check with the concierge and they are pretty helpful.
