Are you there?
Greetings Kosila,
It will be advantageous for you and your family to avail this study permit on behalf of your son as he has an entry into the universities in Canada and he will be there prior to your arrival there, doing his studies and settling down.
If he needs the additional year as you find it necessary, you may quote this fact from the university admissions here in Canada and defer the admission by another year. (You will have to evaluate the cost effectiveness of studying here in Canada and in India. Also if his arrival here will be of great assistance to you all now. It is a judgement call and the ball is in your court.) But please make sure that the university will confirm the same in a letter and you have the entry for the ensuing year and the start there of. This may and will satisfy the immigration authorities and provide you with an extension or issue with another one the next year. You will have to get back on that issue soon after his completion of the requirements. You please address the same in your letter to them.
Please keep all of the correspondence and the copies of the documents in hand ready for submission a second time, with copies for your files, when you are applying for the same the next year.
Alternately drop in or talk with some one in the High Commission there and get it straight from the Sanctum Sanctorum.
Trust this helps and be of assistance in furthering your son's education. You now have your foot in through the door. Be guided.
Freddie.
Dear Freddie,
Thanks for your reply.
