Hi!
My parents got Canadian visa on 23 jul 2007 which is expiring on 19 jan 2008.
Do they have to start journey immediately from India or they can start journey anydate before 19 Jan 2008?
And suppose if they come in Oct then do they have to leave Canada before 19 Jan 2008?

By default, duration of stay is 6 months unless indicated otherwise on the passport at the PoE.

The visa dates - straight forwardly means - that the entry can be on/after July 23rd and that the person has to LEAVE the country before 19th Jan 2008.
My mother is here on the visitor's visa these days for a year too. And so I know, its good to utilise the max. time of the visa provided.
