I got a new HP flat panel monitor (under warranty). Now I see a yellow thin vertical line on the monitor. Not sure what it is and how to take it out. Any suggestions?

if it aint supposed to be there, better to get it replaced while under warranty to avoid further frustrations. Do take a picture as evidence of defect in case it has to be returned for replacement.

Could be either the monitor or the graphics card.
Or maybe both of them are not compatible with each other.
I agree - take action while still under warranty.

Try reducing the Resolution ... if it is still there at the same place - more likely its monitor.
