Cra Insurance while Travelling from Canada to US

While visting US from Canada for few days ( say 3-4 days), does we need any other Car Insuarnce.
I already have Car Insurance from TD Monex. Is it valid even while visiting US for few days
I will be driving my own vehicle
Also what are the formalities to be done at Border crossing while driving
Any DO & DON'T

If you have confirmed that your insurance company covers you while you are driving (for a visit) in the US, you do not need any other car coverage. You will not be asked any car related questions at the border - have a good trip!

The car insurance for US might be covered by your insurance .... call your insurance company & find out from them. Other wise there are no formalities specifically for car when you cross the border. If you are a Can citizen or you have a valid I-94 , you can drive through in five minutes (in case there is no rush at the border). If you have to get an I-94, then it probably would take you 20-30 minutes depending on the rush.
Just a piece of advice, get a CAA membership it is same as having AAA and gives you benefits and services in case you have car trouble. Also gives you 20% discount at the duty free!!!

I will check with TD if it covers US Visit for few days

Also I am on PR so not sure about I-94, lets see
