I have a question about the “Clinical Research Associate” Program at

My Brother have done BDS (Bachelor in Dental surgery) from indian and was thinking about doing 1 year program here at OXFORD College. Have any body have any kind of experience or comments about this school before he submit his fees.

I was doing google for Clinical Researh Associate prgram and found this college.. The Michener Institute for Applied Health Sciences ..Is there anybody who can help me in getting information about these two colleges which is better....and which offers better Clinical Research Associate Program
Oxford is charging $18500 in fees where as Michener Institute for Applied Health Sciences
is charging $5260 ..that is a big difference...

The Michener Institute is regarded as the best training institute in Toronto for para-medical programs and is definitely better than Oxford. I have a relative who is doing the dental hygiene program at Oxford and she is not very happy with the instructors although the lab facilities are adequate.

I had a friend who did the CRA program from Kriger institue and he was not able to land a job even after a year, so ultimately he switched to something else. The problem with the CRA is that employers prefer experienced candidates, so if you can find institutes that offer internships, then that might be a better avenue for getting a break.

If your brother is a BDS, why does he not try to get recertified as a dentist in Canada? Although, it is a long and expensive process, he can take out an ediucational loan which will help him in this regard. Alternatively, he can try getting certified as a dental hygienist which is also relatively well-paying. Refer to this link for recertification in dentistry
