He told me that the Hotel want assurance from us (Consultant) in the form of 1500 CAD as a security and for security reasons they turned the hotel down. But after listening to him, I felt that I can pay 1500 CAD and get the offer letter and work permit and after joining the hotel I will get the refund of same amount. BUT, as they do not trust me, I do not trust them. So, my the situation is very bad and i am in delima, I want my canadian dreams to be fulfilled with the job (salary as 24.75 CAD/ hr) but not able to take decision. I am not sure what to do. I am sure I donot want to waste money.
Please suggest/ Advice me, what to do? I appreciate your time and suggestions.
too much distrust early in the job is not a good.
24.75CAD/hr is quite high for an entry job in this industry. mim wage now is 8.75CAD /hr and most entry jobs are between 9 and 11 CAD/hr.

Let me elaborate more on it. Consultant not gave full address of the employer, just the name of the Hotel, as he said there are more than 8 branches in the city so I may get any one of them.
Secondly, he hasn't asked for the money directly to me. He said employer want him to give security of CAD 1500. Employer gave the reason that may be I will not turn up or default. I offered him that If I will pay the amount as a security deposit, will that work for him.
He told me that now a days a lot of desis file their application and when employer is done with everything, they dont turn up or default.
I know the name of the employer but not the contact details. I am not sure if I will ask the consultant about it, will be impolite or ???
If somebody can enquire about him on my behalf, please contact me on my email as I do not know how to contact personal email through CD (as posted by mkannuri). mkannuri, I would have contacted the employer / HR person but I don't have the details.
Also, morning_rain please elaborate more on the immigration route as I am not aware of it.
at least tell name of this hotel and we will know if there is such $24CAD/hour entry jobs there ...we won't take it, but will check for you.
