Hello friends. If anyone has ANY info, please please contribute. Here is my situation... I married my sweetheart last December. I am Canadian citizen, she is Indian. She came to Canada last year on a tourist visa to visit and I popped the question. We had a quick civil court ceremony and she never went back.
I applied to sponsor her as a PR.
In September we were told we'll have an interview in New Delhi in November at the CHC.
This is now a very stressful time for us.

My questions:

What will they ask?
What happens after the interview?
On successful outcome, how long before she can come to Canada?

Our dilemma is that she already has her return ticket to Canada booked for November 30th and the interview date is November 20th and she is uncertain of when/if she could leave India that soon.

Comments? Please help!!!

:(

7 wonders - THANK YOU soooooo much... this is a fantastic link. I think it will make both of us feel a lot more confident. I hope they can realise this is not a fraud case as we are genuinely in a love marriage.

My only concern now is the post-interview processing time.

Does anyone have any knowledge as to how long they may take to issue her visa and return her passport after the interview?
