A very good friend of mine is inviting me to play badminton with him (and I need exercise anyway). I have played long long back. My friend says that the rackets in the department stores are just for kids and recreational only. He got his racket from desh. Can someone please suggest good brand racket?

Badminton raquet technology is almost dead. Everything's been done. You can go to your local sportchek store and try out anything over $35. I have a Yonex. They are one of the best.

Just don't buy anything from Walmart.

Good for you...if you play well, this is one of the most tiring sports.
