Just wondering if any car or vehicle expert in this forum?
I am having Toyota Corolla 98
Due to temp as low as -30 here, I am unable to start car
Battery & other things look good
Any one know where is Block Heaters for Toyota Corolla 98
I am asking physical location in Car.
Can I see by opening hood of car?
Thanks

I am not an expert, but this could happen if you havent changed the engine oil for sometime or used a lower grade oil in the past. Due to low temperature, the oil losses its viscosity and the engine cannot crank easily.
BTW, whats your location? I havent seen -30 in GTA except for a couple of days in Jan...

I am a Gents and not a Ladies.
Yes, its in Alberta
I checked everything which is possible by opening hood
Nothing is visible
Reason may be, this car is from Toronto & relocated to Alberta
Some one says, block heater my be underneath of Main engine
But I can't move my car to see underneath
Anotehr possibility will be, Block heater is there, but Cord/Plug is not connected to it.
Also Engine oil, battery looks everything fine
Lets see. May be I have to wait for another 2-3 days for weather to improve
Thanks all of you
