If any permanent residents in Mississauga are looking for invitation letter and/or statutory declaration to invite their relatives over for a visit to Canada, please contact us at Dixie Bloor Neighbourhood Centre(905-629-1873 Extn. 244).

We prepare these letters and statutory declarations on your behalf .

SERVICES ARE FREE as the agency is a neighbourhood settlement agency funded by CIC.

Best wishes

Praveen

My parents will be applying for Visitor visa from VFS centre in Mumbai. I am sending them below documents;

a) Invitation Letter

b) Employment Letter

c) Photocopies of Passport and Permanent Resident Card

d) Bank Statements

e) Income Tax papers t4

In addition to the above and the application forms, will they need any additional documents from Canada. Also, please advice if any of the above documents need to be notarized.

Regards
groracle

Hi, All the documents you have mentioned is good enough. You dont need to notarize them. Even we had sent only these documents. They got the Visa without any problem.

Thanks,
Anya

I have asked this question a few times on this board but never got a reply. Can someone please tell me why is it necessary to send an invitation letter for getting a visitor visa? I have been in Canada for 7 years and every year I get my relations to visit me - sisters, brothers, sis-in- law and family, nieces, nephews, aunts etc. but I have NEVER sent an invitation letter and never has anyone's visa application been rejected or delayed.

These people who have come to visit me are of different age groups, financial status (in jobs or business or even retired) and with different backgrounds.

Chandresh, I remember you asking this question and I also remember that I answered it - may be you did not read it.

Here I go again: Your relatives must be having either 1. sound history of visits to foreign countries and/or 2. sound financial background. If you lack these, you might need this invitation (and financial support) letter. For more information (and for the official proof of the need of this letter) see this link:

Hi Guys,

If I am inviting my parents on a visitor visa and they are currently living in New Delhi, where do they have to send their application? Is it directly to the Canadian High Commission or there's any agency? If I am not wrong then I read somewhere that you have to send the papers to this centralised agency and they forward your application for visa in Delhi.

If the latter is true, can someone please provide me the details of the same?

Please suggest.
Thanks in advance.
