Is the chances of an Indian passport holder on visit visa to Canada trying to get an US visitor visa really slim ? Has anyone successfully received it ? Interested to receive inputs from people who have experienced or knows more information.

We live in the UAE and are currently holding Canadian PR cards. Since we plan to move to Canada later this year we applied from Dubai for the US visa. We felt that holding a Canadian PR card was a major factor in influencing the decision of the visa officer as they did not bother to check any documents but just asked us a few perfunctory questions and okayed the visa.
As far as the kids are concerned you can take them if you want to but its not required
