I have US Masters Degree in Civil and Bachelors degree in Civil from India.
Experience: 2 years from India and 4 years from USA.

What are the job prospects in the field of Civil? Reply if anybody has answers.

Not to discourage you but generally speaking Civil engineers donot have much scope in Ontario and that too females (if you are one). You have not mentioned your scope of expertise.
In Ontario, you can get (if at all you get) into site supervision (male dominated), ACAD drafting, HVAC areas, Structural areas.
We recenltly had an Indian civil engineer (in an architectural drafting practice) in our office who was fired b'cos he could not understand drawings properly. He told me that he could not get any work in the civil engineering field and that is why he turned into drafting. He is now unemployed for more than 3 month. He told me that he is looking to work in an Engineering firm ao that he could get the PEO licence but that no one is calling him.
However on the bright side, the situation could be much better in Alberta , in the oil and Gas industry.
This is just my experience and maybe other Civil engineers in the forum could advise you of their views.

If you are in USA, concentrate USA. In NY most of AEC firm have a job opprunities in civil enginnering field ( structural, bridges, transportation etc.). They are looking for junior engineer or intermediate engineer. I have seen number of canadain who work in civil engineering field in USA.
When I was in Toronto, I found lots of difficulty to get job in civil engineering field. I worked as a draftsperson/estimator though I have design experience. If you want to live in Canada then try Alberta.

The engineering companies at this time are on Fire. Especially for people with experience like you. With huge infrastructure, and oil and gas spending in Ontario, Alberta, PQ, BC engineering companies are hiring like crazy for Civil, Mech, Chem and elec positions.
