Hello All;
My wife's case is finally rejected by WSIB after 3 years of pursuing. We are now thinking to go in for appeal in WSIAT (Appeal Tribunal). Can anyone suggest some good lawyer for this step? The earlier one, who handled till now is ready but I wish a second opinion.
Ben

Ashwani and Ben,
It would really help CD's to understand the matter if you could enlighten us about the nature of the claim and why the WSIB rejected it. It would help a lot of CD's understand how the WSIB works in Ontario (for eg. for what sort of claims would the Onatrio govt. reject it)
You can post the matter as discrete as possible in a public board like this.
Peace

More on this case...
My wife got injured while in labour job during our initial days in canada. Thus her goal, to be in her profession (teaching) and her working towards OCT all got shattered. We persued her case in WSIB for comensation with the help of a lawyer for almost 3 years. I can say the lawyer did his job to his best ability. But WSIB rejected the appeal. Next step is to go in WSIAT (Tribunal). Any idea how this works, anyone's experiences in such situations?
AG, please send PM about 'Pace' people. I will talk to them for a second opinion.

Can you give a general idea of why her claim was rejected?
