It still does not answer the query whether to aply for tourist or Visitor if you are going to meet your family. is it minimum 1 year? is 100$ US? because on the site it says 123$
confusiing...
on the site they also say that they only accept applications by mail. what does the 9-11 time specify then?

The Canadian Passport holder, being of Indian Origin, could visit or surely he can tour too.
The two web sites with the compilation, have different timings but the same dollar amount for fees. But my one year Visa that I got at the start of December last year which is still valid cost me $70. They have changed the fees for the one year visa to $100. Now they have new categories to confuse us.
If you say it is $123 on their web site, then it is $123. No complaints. But if you are just visiting, and it does not exceed SIX months, then take the tourist visa for $62. Provide them with a hotel name closer to your residence in India.
If you or anyone has a nice question to ask, then, write an e-mail to them at
Telephone: 416-960-0751, 416-960-0752, 416-960-4831, 416-960-8173
Fax: 416-960-9812
Email:
If in the next fifteen years you are going to visit four times then get the OCI card. Now we have more choices. Pick one that suits the pockets.
Thanks for asking.
Freddie.
Thanks a lot for your replies.....
Can we apply In-person or BY- MAIL only?? If, we can apply in person or do we have to go to Bloor street address OR? Is there any other office at DAVISVILLE STATION because there is another POST for the same question but it's talking about the Davisville station office.
Thanks once again.
