Just happened to see the text in the news today that the US Ambassador to Canada commented \"The next US president will consider voiding the NAFTA\".
Does this mean the TN1 will go non-existent ?
Any major changes to this policy will understandably affect the business in Canada more than US, this could also shatter the dreams of many to extend their life in USA (provided the financial climate doesn't head further south there).
Are we heading back to square one ( rewind the clock to a century to live in a state of autonomy on commerce) ?
Well, realistically certain campaign promises (just to comfort labor force) can not be transformed to actions to affect the much weighted wall street class. Similarly, given the financial crisis countries are passing through, it would be unrealistic to do anything too fundamental to call.
Let us hope the best for all.
