If you ever been to Madras (Chennai) during June / July, you will never think speaking about the humidity here, I hope Bombay might be an exception.
BTW, If I am not wrong, I feel the Sun rays seem to pierce the skin much stronger than I feel in Madras and then again the Sunny days are too bright causing excessive irritation to eyes unlike back home.. Any body felt that way or it is just because I'd been living outside India for a long time...

I agree with you partially, as I have been through same situation. However, you should visit Toronto during a hot humid day in July or August (We did not have a single day this summer). It is a torture to go out during those days. An A/C becomes an absolute requirement.

You're completely out of touch of Dubai, you can not find a liveable apartment for any where less than USD 300K now.

At the end of the day, the choice is in your hands. If I were in your situation, I would not return to Mumbai.

When I landed in Bahamas last winter, I felt bit ecstatic to smell the car smoke resembling back home.. I initially thought its because both India and Caribbean are tropical but hey it is something else as you've said....
