Brampton Real Estate - Why is it cheaper ? (Comparitevely)

I moved to Brampton 4 months back when i bought my own house. All I can say it is cleaner than most places in the GTA, newer and more facilities. FYI I was in Mississauga before for 3 years. The rec centres here are much better that m'ssuga. Whatever everyone else says...I like the crowd.
I also went thru the red flag and I have most of my friends living in Brampton...sorry all my friends living in Brampton and all are related to the IT industry having high paying jobs and none of them think about Brampton in the same way as the guys on redflag. Brampton for information has one of the lowest crime rates in Canada. If you dont believe me go and do a search yourself.

If you are still interested in finding good family Doctor in Brampton, I can help you. My experience is, You have more choice over here to select your Doctor. Emergency waiting time is too much and I agree with everybody. I found, Toronto is really good in terms of emergency services.

What are your opinion on Pickering / Ajax area as compared to Brampton.
Have read some good reviews of these cities and i guess same price as Brampton...
Any opinions / advice on these areas...

Pickering / Ajax can be a good choice for living ..
but one also has to consider job places as well as transportation.
as a IT guy i think i should stay in center of Mississauga , Brampton,Toronto downtown

A lot of IT companies up in Markham/Richmond Hill just off the 404 as well. Honda Corporate office is coming up just off the 404 north of Major Mac.
I would agree with you on the commute. People have to realize time is money as well. Spending an extra 2 hours in a car compared to spending an extra 2 hours with family is a big factor everyone should consider.
Brampton as a city was not initially planned very well. New developments would come up everywhere yet the street going in would be one lane. The lack of services is also present compared to other cities. To Brampton's credit they are remedying the problem slowly and are improving in a lot of areas. You ask how??? For any Brampton residents, just compare your property tax bill from a few years ago to your current one.
Take everything into consideration when choosing a city and prioritize what is important to you and your family and go from there. You most likely will not get 100% of all your needs/wants in one city but balance it the best you can and you will be okay.
