Dear all
as we are not having our pr card in hand so we applied for the travel document
.this visa is valid upto 2 june 09 only.
but due to bad economy or recessionery time we dont want to go this year for better march.

someone said that travel visa is issued once only.

cann't we apply for Travel visa again sometime in nov ot dec this year.
please help as we have to plan accordingly

If you have the travel documents and the ability and the means to travel, complete the process as soon as you can. It takes about 60 days to obtain the card currently. So, be prepared to stay for the duration and leave after you collect the cards. Summer is a nice time to visit Canada. December, na...... unless you want to see Santa too!

Hi,

I think I was the one who replied that TD is issued once and it is true and confirmed from the Embassy. If you miss this June travel you'll need a Visa to travel to Canada in Dec. There's no big deal in TD, if one cannot travel on TD you can travel on Visa but that can mean new expense. You'll have to make a very calculative decision so please do it wisely. You can ask the Canadian Embassy and they'll reply the same.
