Hi Guys,
My file has been transfered to NY for further processing.
I received a letter from CIC office requesting
1. list of address
2. Letter from company detailing employment locations.
I am little nervous and need some guidance..
Background :
I come to USA in Apr 07 and my company transfered me to Canada in Dec 07 - ( I was in USA for 7 months)
I started my projects in Canada from Jan 07 to July 08 - ( I was in Canada for 7 months)
but due to new project transition and Training again I went to USA in Aug 08 - ( Spent 5 months )
and finally I came back to my original project in Canada in Jan 09 ( currently I am in Canada since Jan 09)
Originally when I applied (PR) I gave my India, USA and CAnada Address.
Question 1 :
I have a my relatives here and have permenant address in Canada, can I just give the same address for the duration Jan 07 to Present to just show the continuty of address in Canada ?
Or
Can I give them INDIA--> USA--> CANADA--> USA --> CANADA, address and explain them that I had to go to USA for training while I was actually deputated in Canada ?
Question 2 :
I have copies of company letters submitted to CIC while applying WP, can I submit the same ?
Please advise.
Thanks
Shalini.

1) NO, Only if you think it will help in establishing continuity. OR Yes, state the facts and corroborate them with the letter received for the training. You have to make the choice. All you need is a period of twelve months. The facts as they stand, will permit you to claim the same. In short, do not complicate the situation unnecessarily. Stating the facts as they are has more value to your claim. Also people will stand behind you and validate the facts as true. Any thing else will is not becoming of an employee in your standing.
Now, stand upright, push your chest up and be proud and show the confidence that you carry on your shoulder. You deserve more support and encouragement, because you are darn good at it.
2) Please try and get a new one now, with your official designations for each duration of the time periods and also your current designation. It carries more weight. They know who you are, now tell them who you are.
Wish you all the luck.
That should help you a little bit.
Freddie.

Thanks Freddie,
I have decided to make a table and explain them in detail to make it more simpler.
This will show that I was only 7 months in Canada when I applied. (Not sure about the impact)
I will not be able to give any proof of me going to USA, because its an internal company comunication through 1-2 line emails from our seniors, and I went to train some people on some techinical / business things. They did not give me any formal certificate or something, except an email saying "Thank you for Mentoring your team" (feels frustrating now and feel that I wasted my time) sorry for being so open.
About the letters, in our company they update most of the things in intranet (internal database), they provide only standard letters. (which I have copies of them)
Thanks again for your help
Shalini.
