I am new immigrant at Toronto from India. I am CA from India. Had my own practise in India and i am CPA from USA. After a month no job though applied to thousand of jobs at web-sites, went to recruiters personally, called on phone. Now jusat thinking to go back. May good smartian guide me for any suitable job.

I am giving a similar comment that user "morning_rain" gave on another post, and it is not going to be pretty.

Looking at the English you have used here (spelling + grammar), do you think that MIGHT be one of the reason that you still do not have any offer?

Also, one month is too short a wait to get a job in your field, that too during recession. I had to wait for 3 years before I got a job in my field.

Damn that's a long wait. Life is short. Do you think it was worth it? I mean, the world is a big place, why not move where there are more opportunities... or just stay in your home country, at least you will be doing what you were trained to do (or spent a long time doing).

Makes no sense to me.

This is what I have always said to new immigrant. It will take time, give yourself some time before coming down to conclusion. Don't raise ur bar too high. Keep expectations and realities in perspective.

Why doesnt anyone notice that Sandeep started 2 threads with different occupations and has never returned to reply any of the posts - not even a basic "Thank you for your advice"...

Do you feel he is still reading your advices/comments?

Just my observation.

Hiren

Lately, I have seen this happening quite often with new users.
