Hello All,
Yes to be sure he is still reading the advice. In fact he replied to my PM.
However I saw his other post where he was looking for a teaching job, had a BEd qualification. May be he did it for his wife/ sister etc.
But I agree, the tone of the email was very much taking the CD's for granted and I definately understand and second those who were offended by the attitude.
Regards,
Rajiv
Try this company, they tend to hire a lot of new immigrants for accounting jobs..
http://www.kanish-partners.com/
Considering the though economic scenerio they may not be hiring now but keep trying there.
But be prepared for low wages and long hrs at the company if u do get it
Thanks to all 4 advice
Sandeep Dada,
You should at least clarify if you are a CA or a BEd.
Lot of us take our valuable time to try and help if possible, so may be you could clear the doubts and this may give some CD info to help you better.
Regards,
Rajiv
I am a CA and CPA. My wife is B.Sc Bed. Still looking for a job in my field. Registered with Robert Half Tech and so many other agencies but not fruitful. Do'nt be offended but understand my fraustation. All of you are very senior. Its not that my english is bad but i visits so many sites as per diffrennt advices, meet and call so many people, so always short of time and above all constraint of living with a relative.
Confused either to start CA or CGA. But CA or CGA is longway to go. is any job in accounting field till that time just to meet living expenses?

'teh' in your post MR.
Typos we all do...let us not stretch that to being detail oriented or not....that may or may not be the case!
In addition to informationn (typo! ), Sandeep is also looking for some motivation, I think.
Sandeep, while contacting agencies may be fine, MR's suggestion of networking in your professional field is very good. Do this, not with the view of asking for a job, but seeking to get into your profession here, and you will find positive response.
When you do talk to someone, try to stay positive despite your frustration....they may be equally troubled in these tough economic times....
One thing that works well here(and I know it may sound hard right now) is volunteering. There are several non profit agencies that may welcome additional support from you in terms of the skills you bring. They do not always have money to pay you, but that does help you gain some 'Canadian experience', gets you in touch with people who may help, and also keeps you mentally and physically active, reducing your frustration.
It does mean no money in the short term, but I have seen a few people translate this into good jobs.....it is all a matter of your personal situation and support, and ability to manage things ...
Know one thing, if you have a will, with your skills, you will find a way.
Good luck.
