Hey Folks
I was wondering of selling Bata shoes online in Canada and the USA. Most of us have worn Bata at some point of time and we know that its high quality and very durable.
I feel that our parents and other Desi janta may buy BATA product as its cheaper than Canadian counterparts and better quality too- " Made in India/Pakistan"
So the question is-
You as a consumer- Will you buy a BATA shoe for your parents, uncle yourself online?
Thanks for your help in letting me decide.
Regards,

Yes, I would be happy to.
I'm a big fan of Bata and believe it or not, still wear Bata chappals, slippers and shoes.
On my trips to India, I purchase several Bata stuff to last me until my next trip

Actually they dont sell the classical India/Pakistan stuff here in Canada and the USA. They sell some brands like Power in the US through some engagements with third party retailers.
Thanks for your response. You seem to be a big Bata enthusiast.
Definitely, I will. I am a great fan of Bata. Been wearing those shoes since my school days. Simply, love'em....
In fact Bata has a Canadian root too.
Canada
Bata International Centre 1965-2004Anticipating the Second World war, Thomas J. Bata , together with over 100 families from Czechoslovakia, moved to Canada in 1939 to develop the Bata Shoe Company of Canada, includng a shoe factory and engineering plant, centered in a town that still bears his name, Batawa, Ontario. Thomas J. Bata successfully established and ran the new Canadian operations and during the war years he sought to maintain the necessary coordination with as many of the overseas Bata operations as was possible.

And while on Bata, have you checked the Bata Shoe Museum.

I personally like Hush Puppies. A couple of years back I bought one in The Bay and it was made in India and lasted me for more then two years. However Bata available in India - I do not like that. Quality wise I found them to be far more inferior. I like the Lee Coppers more now.
In conclusion I would not buy Bata from India.
