Not an expert either on medicine or on yog, but if all diseases could be treated by yog, than all the scientists and medicine companies should close their doors and join Baba Ramdev camp. They should try to figure out how yog affects your pancreas and insulin production.
P.S. - I am not a "sweat" lover either, unless it is on that "special person"
Ramdeo exercise is good in addition to the strict food control.
Let me tell you something that you might be interested in - from my first hand experience.
Controlling or eating sugar is not enough. You should change - completely - your food habits. Eat low glycemic index food. 2 spoons of sugar in tea is still too much. Change it to no sugar at all (you get used to it after a while) or start using Splenda instead of sugar.
Avoid high glycemic index food (such as rice, pasta). No too many rotis but start having lots of green veggies and variety of fruit.
Google Low Glycemic index or just Glycemic Index - you will get a lot of information.

Cutting both rice and rotis is not easy
If I don’t eat roti or rice then what do I eat? – We are typical Indian family – eat rice – dall at lunch and roti – saag at dinner.
We don’t eat too much of pizza, pasta, burger – just once a week when we go out to eat.
I am sure there is many DESI’s who falls in our category – rice and roti is the main meal.
YES , BUT I CAN EATH lot of METHIS, KARELA, NIM PATTA to counter sugar – is that help ?
I have already started drinking, tomato, cucumber and karela juice in the morning – as per video – see if that help control my sugar
To meghal : sorry I am not “SWEET” lover but yes i am Sweetheart lover - is that increase my sugar - ha..ha..ha..

"Taking medicines is easy - choice is yours "
I ALWAYS AVOID TAKING MEDICINES - i believe medicines are mainly made for business purpose - not to cure 100% - making money by pharmaceutical company -
u take one medicine to cure -then 2nd one to counter 1st one - then 3rd to counter second one , goes on and on and on ... also there is chance of more complications....
THERE FOR I NEED OPINION ON "YOGA AND PRANAYAM" - if that helps then i will avoid taking any medicine.
yes, i will try to cut as much as sugar.
if ramdev yoga and his natural herbal recipes will help control sugar then i would go with that....
if someone has try yet ? what is the result ?
