Mother sponser and time frame

I am just wondering how much time does it take for an individual to sponser her mother from Pakistan?

I heard it was 3 years but then i also heard its 2 years?

Currently, the timeline for in- Canada sponsorship portion is 30 months + another 1-3 years in the country of residence of sponsored person, so you are looking at a timeline of a 3.5 to 5 years.
