Hi,
I am planning to buy new laptop. Purpose is home use. Price range is around $500-$800. Confused which company is good, which processor to select and what other consideration to keep in mind while buying.

Even though it does not have Intel Centrino but still, If you can get this http://www.futureshop.ca/catalog/proddetail.asp?sku_id=0665000FS10125379&catid=26917&logon=&langid=EN&dm=DEBUG laptop in Future Shop, it would be a very good buy as of today.

i just got this one...bit costlier than previous post but very high processing power with Intel core 2 duo ( 2 processors) and a SATA drive...
