my friend has misplaced his old and cnacelled passort. he has the photocopies of misplaced passport, though he applied on the current passport.
please suggest as police complaints are usually not written for canecelled passports.

Even if you went back india or your back home Airport Authority have right to ask for your old passport as there is old passport no in your new passport.
It happened to me when i went back from Africa in 2000, asked by immigration deptt. luckily i stepled with new passport that time. they checked all stamp in old passport even, I still don't understand why they did that time....
????!!!!!
