We are planning to go to india next month. The Indian Passport of kids expired last year and we actually already got the new passports. My question is that when we will come back from india do they trouble us as Canadian Visa stamping is on old passport of Kids (We are permanent resident)?
Anybody has this kind of experience, we just donot wish to be stucked at airport for any reason.
Thanks in advance.

Why do you need a Cdn visa if you are permanent residents? You will be entering Canada using your PR cards.

They do ask for stamped Passport as well. last time i went to india and came back, they checked everything , i mean passport as well as PR card.(so not just the PR card).

Don't know about Indian airports now-a-days but...
As long as the new passport and the old passports are linked (refer to the last page of the new passport, which should have the old passport details), valid visas on an old expired passport are considered valid. So carry the old passport just in case.

Your passports will probably be checked, so carry both old Indian passport and new Indian passport.

Sorry. Yes, like others have said, you need a valid passport to travel. PR card is also needed in order to leave India and to enter Canada.
