Someone was saying you need to get everything done before Feb. But my energy audit was done on Oct 2009 and he told me that I have 18 months to finish everything and call him back. Is that right?

What I heard that you need to buy before Feb is for HRTC(Home Renovation Tax Credit)?

You need do your renovation by end of Feb.

And if you are lookings for the Heating credit you need to get the re-inspection done before Feb. Remember the re-inspection can be only once in 18 months.
If you call the inspector once you cannot call him again in the 18 months period.

So if you want to claim the money this year you should get all the work by end of Feb and call the the inspector by Feb.
