Hello everyone,
My mortgage is coming up for renewal. I am with TD rite now and they are offering me 3.25 fixed for 3 yrs..they did offer me 4.3 for five years but i m thinking to go with 3 years.
i would like to know CDS opinion and suggestions. do u think i can get better rate or this is the best i wud get in todays marker?
any help appreciated.

You can get a much better rate for a 5 year term elsewhere, however, the 3 year rate they are offering is more in line with what other banks have to offer. You should try to negotiate a better 5 year rate which could be around 3.80% or go for a 3 year and if they bring it down to 3% level then it would be much better.

which other bank shud i try? if i take my credit check report, wud they accept it?
wat shud i take with me when i go to other banks?
oh by the way, they did not give me any letter from TD that wud say they are offering me this rates, do other banks ask for these letter?
