Hi all,
My parents got PR of Canada; however they will appear in citizenshp interview on Jan 15/2010. They will come to Canada around 3rd week of January2010.
1> Does it affect them if they enter in Canada with status of GC (USA) and PR (Canada)
2> They will return USA within a week or 2 to finalize citizenship of USA. Is it fine to return within 2 weeks from Canada to USA???
Any kind advise will be really helpful to me.

It is better to "land" and get the US citizenship afterwards. Your information should not change before you land.
Many people return to the USA after their "landing".
It could be viewed as an issue of having two "permanent" residences after getting a PR of Canada and also the US green card.

Hi,
If the citizenship is changed, as there is a change in the passport, will the Canadian PR visa in the Indian passport be valid?
It is better to land and get the US citizenship.
Better to consult some attorney.

I am planning to let them land Canada after Citizeship test b'ze there PR visa will be expire after Feb 1/09.
I only not clear that if they land in Canada does it affect on Green card???
Or is any concern when they land on Toronto airport and immigration officer may ask them to keep any one PR or GC.

Canadian officers won't say anything at the time of their landing in Toronto, about their green card. The green card is american property, therefore, it is always a possibility that the american officers (at some point in time - not necessarily at this time when they go back to the USA) might ask them to give up either the cdn PR or the US green card.
But if they become USC soon, then I do not see any immediate threat of losing any of their cards.
