Dear all,

3 Idiots, a MUST watch movie. Great script, inspite of not being very preachy, successful in delivering the message. Best for me were, Sharman, Boman & Omi Vaidya (character,"CHATUR". Unblievable makeover by Aamir to look like a 22 years old college kid. Music, though good for the story didn't impress my ears (except ...a short GUITAR number by a student). One of the best made COMEDY SCENES,"Chatur's speech".

I am still not able to forget the laughing riot, we had while watching the speech scene by the character "CHATUR". It is available on youtube and I keep on going back to that video.

No Doubt Excellent Movie from All aspects ,Saw it twice in the theater for the first time sat in 2 row from front ,hall was that full but worth it.
Chatur speech is icing on cake.

I have not read the book nor seen the movie. So it is difficult for me to comment on this. Any CD's read this book ? Please comment if you have.

The movie is definitely worth watching based on excellent reviews, however, this issue is also getting interesting. Chetan seems to be winning this media war at the moment. He has quite a large fan following. Time to read the book before I see the movie.

Brilliant movie !.

Watched on the net as DVD RIP is online. Usually I'm highly critical of movies, but I found a movie which had a practical down to earth message and realistic to the core.

It reflected on my childhood, my college days and also relates to my current state where my child is college bound and as a typical desi parent I want to play it safe without realizing the other side of the story.

Eventhough I'm not fluent in hindi many of the dialogues hit my heart the ones like, fool your heart by saying all is well, follow your dreams and not success as it will follow you. Study to learn and not earn high marks and the other remarks about the grading system.

Eventhough many a scenes were added as afterthought it is pardonable. I definitely feel that the 300 million means nothing to Avatar when it does not touches your heart but plays good to your sensory system.

A good movie touches the heart and leaves a breeze in your heart.

Desi movie ka Jawaab nahin.

I could see myself in the Chaturs role as I'm here in Canada due to the point system as I would ace all the exams and that has given me the edge in the point system to reach Canada.

But if I had taken the Ronchos route where would I be ?................................

Incidentally my masters advisor was like Virus and he had a negative thought process and did not want his students to get ahead of him. I have seen many students with US PhD admissions on hand waiting for their final year marks to apply for visa and he would flunk them on some whimsical reason. He would hold back their thesis even when they have job letters on hand by saying the thesis is not complete and many a times excellent employers would move to another candidate to fill the position. Today the guy is all alone, wife left him and even his children have left him.

Really a good movie for any person with children in highschool.

Sunny Leone a true Canadian DESI now back in India !.

Simply awesome movie. Couldn't wait to watch it again in Theater, and movies like this comes once in a lifetime.

I hardly doubt if any past/future movies match with '3 Idiots' in content, story, script, and all other aspects. Get over Gadar, Lagaan, Gajini, etc. for here comes a breath of fresh air.

Couldn't stop raving about it. Go watch it - watch it twice, thrice, as many times as you can, and you will not be disappointed. Why it touches hearts because growing up, school, university was a lot similar to this movie's plot. Characterization is way too humble with not one is given mileage over another. Amir, as always gives a due space and respect to the actors around him. Such is the way of this living legend. Hats off to you Amir. This dude has a really long way to go. I won't shy away to keep Amir in the same bracket as Dev Anand, Raj Kapoor, and Dileep Kr.

If you haven't watched this movie, you're missing a phenomena.
