Does any of our CD members has any idea on the " Mystery shopper" Jobs , and their contract employers?
is this any other kind of job scam or like that any info please share your views.
I am always attracted to the dedicated desk at the wall marts with mystery shopper board hanging.
Please share all you know on this jobs.

I have done Mystery shopping in India.

Its not a Job but a freelance assignment.
How it works is the company creates a database of Mystery shoppers almost everywhere.
If they get a contract say with Canadian tires, they post it on the job board with every details instructions like store available/time /how to judge /what to judge/spending limit/ if you can inform the store of your Mystery shopper status.

The Mystery shopper applies and is then assigned location store to visit.

The actual visit consist of doing a basic purchase (very nominal) and judging on the parameters.
The remuneration is the purchase and a little top up as service fee for job done.

Positive feedback is important as the hiring company say Canadian tire then can publicize it as the store with 90% or 98% customer satisfaction rate. Dont you see displays at store mentioning 98% customer satisfaction rate, whats the proof ... Mystery shopping.

The internal Mystery audits are extremely stringent and usually done by the company itself.
