Hello everybody,

I am writing this to seek the valuable advice of Canadian Desi patrons.

These days one finds many Indian organisations opening up Educational Institutions in India after tie ups with Canadian colleges.

For example an agency has one such off shore campus of Georgia College in Chandigarh.

I would like to know what is the status of the these colleges. Supposingly somebody takes admission in these colleges, then whether the education provided to him would be counted as Canadian education or not ? Also whether such effort would help in Immigration on points system ?

I hope there are many experts who often visit this site and will reply back accordingly.

Jashan...ahem couldnt find the name for that college anywhere ?
Basically before you enrol in these colleges, make a thorough background check of the credentials of the college. Your best bet would be the Internet. I dunno whats happening in India, but on reading Pakistani newspapers I have found that many ppl have been duped by so called "reputed" colleges having tie-ups with local colleges.
