I recently changed in my 2007 return using My account from CRA website. I register in My account and they send me password in mail for activate the account. Now i can easily do any changes in my any year of return quickly.

Well answer for your question i dont know but some of RRSP income i showed wrong in 2007 which i changed and they review and give me refund within two weeks without asking single question.

Hi All,

I already filed my 2009 return online, but missed to disclose some cash income i earned in 2009. Now, if I change my return, I had few concerns;

1. Do I need any documentary proof (which I don't have) for that income before i make changes in my already filed return?

2. since I used pc software to calculate mine and my spouse's income, now if I make any changes to my accessed return will it be automatically synchronized with my wife's return in respect to calculate any changes?

pls answer as soon as possible.

Thanks in advance.

There are two parties to this Cash income. One who pays you and the other who is receiving it. See if it is amicable to you both. If both of you are comfortable with one system that you both want to adhere to, then live with it.

Normally it will be preferable that you have a paper trail.

Depending on who is receiving the salary and to who is paying the taxes, it will fall ONLY in their Tax system, though, it might reflect in the Family income as the Total Net income for the Family. That might preclude some of the benefits too. The program will enable you to juggle this amount and see where you come up winning.

All of this is a Judgment Call. Do what you are comfortable with and if you want to sleep over it, and decide later, then, you still have time to decide. For the time being you have filed your return and done with.

Let conscience be your guide.

Freddie.
