Hi To All ,

Writing a post after a long time & I know lots of people might be thinking that we’re also like others who took all the information & afterwards left the group . But I was waiting for a right time. & how can I forget this site that helped us so much. So here I’m.

Well we’ve completed 6 months. Now it’s time to share our experience with all of U. 1st few weeks were busy with lots of things to do like searching of house, immigration formalities etc etc & not to forget we met canadiandesi members. It was indeed a great experience thanks to last minute invitation from Vimal (Biomed).

By God’s Grace our 6 months have been good so far, not as bad as we expected. Initially 1st week we stayed with our uncle, he helped us lot. Then we moved to a sharing acco. Those guys were really very good. Great experience, they helped us lot & we felt like we were in our family only. In the meantime my hubby was busy with networking (but didn’t help us in our case). He registered himself with agencies too. & thanx to one agency, the lady there was too good who took my hubby’s interview, through her my hubby got temporary job & later helped me too to get work & we will always be thankful to her. In the meantime, my hubby was still busy with lots of interviews & networking. & 1 day he got an interview call from a good company, interview was good but they took 2 months to finalize it.

So after 1 ½ month he was selected and got the job by God’s grace. Last week only he got permanent. Regarding me right now I’m doing data entry. But would like to do some bank courses or BEd. Let’s see.

Now we have moved to Brampton becoz it’s near to my work place. So little bit settled.
Pray for us that we’ll get a success in our life as we do for all newcomers. For me great credit goes to CanaidanDesi becoz before visiting this site I really (mean it) didn’t know the reality of Canada & was not possible to prepare myself for anything (for the worst heeeeeeeee ). Special thanx goes to Garvo, Bluelobster, Chandesh ji, Jake3d, Promod ji & most important Sudhish Pai & Vimal (Biomed). & not to forget all the members of this site. Thanx a lots.

Its really good to hear from you after such a long time. And honestly speaking, I don't think there's anything wrong about the fact that you went away for a bit while focusing on your own life. After all, you gotta do whatever YOU feel is necessary to move forward and you can only help others once you settle youreself.

Good luck for the future and please do keep contributing when you get a chance. I'm sure your experiences will be valuable to a many, especially for folks in the middle-east.

Nice to know that CD was able to prepare you better for Canada which helped you a lot. Also very happy to know that you guys have got jobs, specially your hubby and I am sure, you will be able to move out to better job soon. Wish you all the best. And I was wondering as to whats happened to Jyoti and for that reason Manjeet as well since both of u r from UAE . Thanks for writing in back .

Your expereince is definitely a big plus to learn and acts as an inspiration .
