My Application for Permanent Residence in Canada has been approved by CIO & I've been told to submit Complete Application Form to London office since Beginning from April 1, 2010, residents and citizens of Pakistan wishing to apply under the economic class will submit their applications to the Canadian High Commission in London, United Kingdom for processing instead of Islamabad, Pakistan.
I went through the London Visa Office Specific Instructions & found that \"Do not send originals unless otherwise stated. Send notarized photocopies of all documents except the police certificates\".
First thing is that although they don't want original documents but one of my friends suggested me to send the original documents to speed up the process. Whether I should send original documents?
If No, then from where I can get my documents attested (notarized photocopies) from Riyadh, Sauida?

You take the ORIGINAL of a document to an individual in LEGAL PROFESSION and he who has a seal, can use it and stamp that document to say that he has seen the original and and then attests the copy, is a TRUE COPY of the Original, that makes it a Notarized copy.

The NOTARIZED COPY , now, has the same value as that of the ORIGINAL.

So, you DO NOT send the Originals of any document as stated in their communication. You "only send the Notarized Copies of all of he Originals", EXCEPT the Police Clearances.

Here is a list of Lawyers there, Close by. You can call them and find the fees that they charge for their services. Ask them if it is per page or per document. Get an extra copy notarized if they will do it for free. Some charge $5, and some charge $10 per document. So, be choosy and also find one close by your work or home.

There are some Embassies there in Riyadh that do these services as a FREE service, to the citizens of their countries. This is for your information.

Now you have all of the information to proceed. Fill in the application and go over it once and also include the check list and all the copies of the documents with the submission. AND courier it to U.K.

those are in saudi arabia, they can go to indian embassy and get it stamped by paying some service charges. this too has the same value as like notary.

I have checked many lawyer offices/firms from the link provided above, but unfortunately all of them told me that they don’t notarize documents. So please if anybody applied from Riyadh, Saudi Arabia and do it before then please let me know from where he did it (the name of the Doctor, Accountant, Lawyer).

In Saudi Arabia, notarization is to be done by the concerned person's Embassy, in your case, Pakistan Embassy. You have to go with the originals and 2 photo copies each (as per the Indian embassy procedure)
