Spouse Sponsership from Pakistan
Hello:
I have recently been married in Pakistan and reside in Toronto. I am filling out the forms and confused about FORM 5481 Sponsership Evaluation. Do I need to fill in that form if I am sponsering a spouse? She does not have any children.
Secondly, In the Application for permanent residence, Do I have to attach photos of her family members (That is her dad, mom, brothers and sisters)?
I am a Canadian Citizen and need to know how long would it take if I send in the completed application around July 20th to the Case Processing Centre in Canada.
Thanks all for youy help
Take care
Hi
you must have to complete the Form 5481. without that your application will be not completed. In spouse case they don't look at the earning but want to know the total people you sponcerd before.
In Application for permanet residence for your wife, you just have to fill her information only. that form is for the people who you are sponcering only and there dependents.you don't need to fill up any information for your wife parenst , brothers and sisters.
i applied for my wife back in May end 2004 and recieved the answer from misssisuga on 14 june mentioning that my file has been transfer to islamabad. and my wife got letter from inslamabad embassy in early july stating that, they recieved her file and it is under process with file #. they mentioned in the letter, it takes 6 months for spouse case(hope not that long).
i am not sure now how long it will take more , i am as sitting and praying hopefully she get visa soon.

Hello:
Thanks for your reply. I appreciate your answer. To my understanding, They ask you the question about "Sponsered other people in the past" in Question # 16 for the "SPONSER QUESTIONEER". Anyway, it does not hurt to submit the evaluation form. I will fill it and submit it anyway.
Regarding processing time, I have read that it cuts 2 months of processing time if you have submitted all the fees at once. Did u submit all your fees at once? Thanks again and take care.. and keep me posted about your progess. Hopefully it will be sooner than we all think.
Take care

4- Advicable to send your application fees and your Right fees all together this will save your processing time.
Read that as "Right of Landing fees "
