I applied for PR in skilled category from the UAE in July 2004. My interview was waived. I had to move back to Pakistan last year, and had to undergo my Medicals here. Now CHC London have requested for Mine and family's passports to be sent to London for visa stamping. The problem is that none of the courier companies here are willing to take passports and send them abroad, neither is the Post office. The CHC here in Islamabd is not much help. What should I do?? lPlease help as time is running out!!

We were in the same situation (applied at London while resident there)

We traveled to London, dropped our passports personally at CHC London, strayed there for 14 days, collected them and came back.

It was time consuming and expensive but the only legal way, as your passport can’t travel without you out of country.

Angel, wouldnt work, because all packages/letters are screened. Moreover, if they get lost, no one will take responsiblity.

Hestonuk, thanks for your input. I was trying to avoid this very expensive altarnative; but looks like we have to go. Can I travel on my own and carry the wife's and daughter's passports to London UK? Or is that illegal too?

By the way, I am planning on landing in vancouver too. We like the scenery and the weather.
