We are planning to move to Canada soon. Just wanted to know whether there is any system of hiring part time maids for cleaning on a per hour/weekly basis.

If so, what would be the charges and how does one go about finding such a maid.

Everything is available here if you are ready to pay price. If you take Home Cleaning services from Agencies , it will cost you more but you can find easily direct maids who will charge you less. I will say if you are willing to pay minimum wages which is around 10.25 CAD/Hour, you can get them easily.
